A MESSAGE OF GRATITUDE AND FAREWELL

Since 2002, it has been our honor to serve the Brevard County community by providing classes in Parent Education, Anger Management, GED preparation, and our faith-based batterers intervention DIGNITY program. While much of our work has taken place in partnership with the Brevard County Jail since 2006, our programs have also reached members of the public seeking tools for personal growth, healing, and a fresh start.

Since our founding in 2002, over 37,000 individuals have participated in our programs. That number represents not just lives touched, but families strengthened, cycles broken, and futures rewritten. Behind each of those numbers stands a story of courage, change, and hope—and we are deeply humbled to have played a role in those journeys.

This work began as the vision of my father, who founded the organization with a heart for restoration and a passion for service. His dedication laid the foundation for all that followed, and his spirit has guided us every step of the way.

The decision to close our doors has not come easily. Due to critical funding reductions, the upcoming relocation of one of our key instructors, and internal organizational changes, our Executive Board and I have made the difficult choice to discontinue operations. On a personal note, the passing of my father earlier this year—our founder and the heart behind this mission—has been a significant moment of transition for both me and the organization.

To all who supported this work—our volunteers, community partners, donors, and especially the individuals who went through our programs—thank you. You are the reason this mission mattered. Though this chapter is closing, the impact of this work will live on in the lives you’ve touched and the hope you've helped create.

With deep gratitude,

Chrissy McDowell
Executive Director
